MIT/Lincoln Labs CCID20 W105C2 CCD Test Results
This is a high-resistivity phase 2 MIT/Lincoln Labs 2Kx4K
CCD. It has improved brick wall. This device has suffered a breakdown during
the initial cool-down. The B amplifier stopped working when the temperature
got to -127C and hasn't worked since. A summary report
is available. Noteworthy points about this CCD include:
- Before it broke down it had generally very nice characteristics.
Original postscript files are available from our anonymous
ftp server and these provide better resolution and clarity than is

Surface flatness
This CCD has a fairly large curvature.
There is a bow of about
20 µm in this CCD. This is the most we've seen in any phase 2 device, but
may still be entirely acceptable in many applications.
