The UCO/Lick Detector Development Lab has tested a number of MIT/Lincoln Labs CCID20 2Kx4K CCDs as part of the detector development consortium established by Gerry Luppino at the University of Hawaii. The work is divided into several development phases.
Phase 1 was the initial development period.
Phase 2 (Round 1) represents improved processing for some devices produced during the phase 1 work.
Phase 2 (Round 2) represents improved processing for some devices produced during the phase 1 work.
Phase 3 includes CCDs from the 6-inch fab line. These are CCDs from the runs being shared by Keck.
This phase of testing for the consortium is now finished. However, we expect to start testing a new group of CCDs with the Lincoln backside MBE treatment. Testing should begin in September 2002 if the devices are delivered on schedule.
