PROCESS:
Use of oscilloscopes and voltmeters. These devices are not inherently dangerous. However, they may be used on circuits which have high voltages and electrical shock hazards.
HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS/CLASS OF HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS:
None.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:
None. When using test equipment remove all jewelry which might come in contact with the circuit being tested or the test equipment.
ENGINEERING/VENTILATION CONTROLS:
Make sure the test equipment is properly grounded.
Use care when testing equipment that contains high voltages or electric
shock potential. Expose as little of the circuitry as possible. Add temporary
insulation if necessary to minimize the possibility of accidental short
circuits and shocks.
SPECIAL HANDLING PROCEDURES AND STORAGE REQUIREMENTS:
None.
SPILL AND ACCIDENT PROCEDURES:
CALL 911 in case of electrical shock.
WASTE DISPOSAL:
None
